Our handheld server MDE+ has renamed itself and moved! For our loyal customers, followers and partners the new name and the move may not be news. However, in order to thank everyone involved and to introduce ourselves to new customers, we would like to officially declare our move at this point.

By switching from a small sub-page on our company website https://agolution.com to our own website, and also having changed our name and logo, we are confident to breathe fresh air and provide our customers and interested parties with more targeted information. The good thing:
Services, structures and staff remain the same. You may continue buying licenses and equipment, make use of services or receive information directly from us.
The switch has already been completed and you do not have to worry about annoying notices like “Maintenance work - we’ll be back for you soon.”
The Name makes the Difference 🔗︎
“Handheld server” did express the technical expertise of our staff and sales partners, but in some cases it left room for misunderstandings. The name did not accurately reflect which function and which benefit was behind our software solution. That is all history now: Our new name DATACAP clearly emphazises its function and benefit. It is quite obvious that DATACAP is a data capture function (engl. data capture) with digitalization of warehouse and production processes being its main benefit. The + included in the name also draws attention to the exclusive and competitive added value, which goes far beyond the usual range of functions in the industry.

There’s something new for the eye, too: From now on there will be a harmonious mix of black, blue and white greeting you when visiting our new website. In this context, we have also revised our logo: The new DATACAP logo on a dark background now unmistakably serves as a flagship. Simple, but stylish.

Our new website also provides enough space for helpful information. There are useful blog posts addressing topics like

are now available online. In addition, there is also our Documentation being entirely available online.

What else has changed for you with the switch from https://agolution.com to https://datacap.plus apart from colour design, name and fresh content? Roughly speaking: nothing! The overall concept proven remains the same!
We will continue to provide you with the appropriate hardware equipment. Scanners, for example, make up a large part of the products we supply from renowned brands such as Motorola and Datalogic. High-quality and robust tablets are also among the all-rounders we sell.
Of course, we also provide comprehensive advice concerning: Which model suits best your company? What accessories are available for your data acquisition devices? What are the differences between 1D and 2D barcodes? We will discuss in detail the best possible strategy for making your warehouse and manufacturing processes competitive. A 360-degree view into your operation does not necessarily include this service, but it can provide decisive advantages, especially for founders such as start-ups and less technically experienced departments.
